Teacher and Student led virtual fieldtrips.
Students can learn a lot from fieldtrips and get the hand-on experiences that they would not get from a text book, but you can’t fill a school bus full of students and take off to China. But what you can do is have the students go on a virtual tour of China. For example, they can type in “Great Wall of China” into the search box and you are there in minutes and it doesn’t cost a penny! Students can create a virtual fieldtrip of their dream vacation and take their classmates with them.
